So, you’re eager to learn more about Registered Nursing opportunities within our Acute Medical team at North Bristol NHS Trust. Here are some of the reasons we’re unique... 

  • Our multidisciplinary team consists of Acute Medicine Consultants, pharmacists, junior doctors and physiotherapists, who work collaboratively to treat a complex mix of emergency department patients.  
  • Our nurses have the opportunity tap into the expertise of a huge range of specialist nurses and doctors as they handle patient assessment, investigation, diagnosis and the management of patients with an emergency illness 
  • We’re one of two designated Major Trauma Centres in the South West, working closely with a network of local unit trauma units to provide specialised trauma care and rehabilitation to patients with multiple serious injuries. 
  • Our nurses move through our bespoke rotation packages across specialties, because we’re passionate about offering internal and external training for career progression and our nurses have access to an award winning in-house Practice Development Nurse.  

We currently have opportunities available for: 

  • Experienced Registered Nurses with current NMC Registration 
  • Newly Qualified and Newly Qualifying Nurses
