When COVID-19 hit, it changed everything for our families. We had to respond quickly by adapting how we care. The demand for the outstanding care Haven House provides is increasing and more vital than ever. We need you to help us deliver our care to families who so desperately need us during the most difficult of times.

Our Healthcare Support Workers (HCSW) are privileged to spend precious time with babies, children young people and their families. We need your expertise to provide compassionate care and create special memories.

As a valued member of the clinical care team, you will join a unique and vibrant team providing symptom management, palliative and end-of-life care, as well as planned and emergency short breaks both at the hospice and in the community.  As a Haven House HCSW you will support the wider team to ensure high standards of holistic care are delivered.

In return, we will support your wellbeing and offer you a learning environment to develop your skills and competencies in paediatric palliative care, supported by our Nurse Practice Educator.

This role is based at our beautiful woodland hospice in Woodford Green, offering free parking and easy access from the Central line.

Hours
37.5 Hours per week - worked as 11.5 hour day to night shift rota

Salary 
Agenda for Change - £20,330 - £21,777 dependent on skills and experience
